WHY MEDITATE WITH MANTRAS?
When I started meditating almost twenty years ago, I felt sitting still and silently wasn’t for me! Even though I was trying hard and received teachings from the most qualified Masters in the Buddhist Tradition, I kept struggling with my ‘monkey mind’. All the others looked so peaceful, but not me! Sometimes I had glimpses of this silent, vast, and empty space within, but soon I was distracted, and my attention was jumping all over again with memories from the past or projecting the future. But every time I did a ‘Puja’ (spiritual practice or Sadhana), which involved visualization and mantra recitation, the experience was very different.

I would naturally merge with sound and effortlessly experience calm and peace in the present moment. This was actually another form of meditation too! Since mantra meditation has been part of my daily life, it has helped me navigate many complex and challenging times with much grace and transform the entire thing by either shifting my perception and mindset and the external conditions or situation. Mantra meditation is a practical and powerful tool to center your mind, anchoring your attention on these sacred vibrations. They can bring healing, blessings, and self-awareness. You may chant, whisper, or repeat it silently. Whatever works! I will share a selection of mantras I specially composed to meditate, so the length and number of repetitions are designed to serve your practice and meet your needs.
